What to Do When your Bbw Wants to Lose Weight?

There may come a time in your relationship with a big beautiful woman where she utters the most awful of four letter words - diet. Even though you love the size and shape of your large and lovely lady it doesn’t matter unless she feels the same way about herself. So what happens when she wants to lose weight and you want her to stay where she is? Her weight is part of the reason you were attracted to her in the first place and you worry that if that changes it will end your love affair. It’s similar to how a man who likes long hair would feel if his girl got a pixie cut or when a guy who likes petite women falls in love with someone who starts to gain weight. But in all those situations the key is that even though you are in love you aren’t in possession of another persons body. They still have the right to make their own choices. By trying to manipulate them into doing what you want you are showing disrespect for your woman and your relationship.

Your first instinct may be to try and sabotage her efforts to lose weight. Don’t do it. You go out and stock the freezer with chocolate ice cream and stock the pantry with her favorite chips and dip. All that temptation will likely work if your goal is just to get her to fail to reach her goals, but the cost will be too great. By going behind her back and not supporting her in her goals you will be doing great harm to your relationship. It’s understandable that you might feel upset or scared when your big beautiful woman says she wants to lose weight.

The best way to be supportive is by figuring out why they want to lose weight. If they are doing it because they want to conform for some societal standard of beauty then you can help by focusing on how big is beautiful and feminine and how it is more womanly to be shapely than to look like an emaciated teenage boy. This will strengthen your relationship and will make her abandon the diet. Maybe they want to lose weight to fit into a certain dress or for a special occasion. In that case usually we are talking about just 10 or 15 pounds and not a huge change. Being helpful by making low calorie foods and going for romantic walks together will help you grow as a couple as you reach that goal.

Often times the desire to lose weight may come because of health concerns. There is nothing inherently unhealthy about being a big woman as long as your blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure are all normal. The idea that thinner is healthier isn’t always true. If your lady’s main concern is health then you can encourage her to start eating more fruits and veggies, cutting back on sugar, and adding exercise to your daily routine. These small changes may result in a few pounds lost but more importantly it will lead to a longer and better quality of life all without having to resort to becoming a waif. These activities are good for you too. Think of it as taking action to live a longer life together. It is possible to be big, beautiful, and healthy but it will take your love and support.

When your large and lovely lady wants to slim down don’t look at it as the end of your relationship and don’t try and get in the way of her goals. Through communication and support you will be able to help her achieve her goals, of better self esteem or a healthier lifestyle, without losing her or too much of the body you’ve come to love. If you just can’t accept that your woman wants to change then you need to take a step back and examine your relationship. Are you in love with a person or just her weight?

How your Health Changes After Weight Loss

There is a shift in attitude towards weight loss these days. More and more people understand that it doesn’t matter how thin you look if you are not a healthy human being. Losing weight is no longer a matter of looking good, it’s a matter of being healthy, happy and free to live your life anyway you choose.

So is it really worth the trouble to join a hard-to-follow weight loss program? What benefits can you expect when you lose weight? And, more importantly perhaps, what benefits can you expect if you reach your goal and lose weight?

There are many “before and after weight loss” stories and some are truly inspiring and play an important support role for people who struggle with extra pounds. But no matter how many stories you will read and how much inspiration you can get from them, nothing will prepare you for how you will feel once you’ve reached your goals.

Before weight loss most all the people complain about the same things: they feel down, sexually and socially unattractive, they feel inferior, they lack will power, etc. After weight loss they expect to feel the exact opposite, but it doesn’t happen like this all the time. So what can you realistically expect in your life after successfully losing weight?

Losing weight will boost your confidence levels to an all time high and not only because you look better and you feel better, but also because you were able to achieve your goal and worked hard to get there! Even if you only lose one size in clothes, it’s still a huge achievement. It gives you the strength to continue a healthy lifestyle. And this is the most important change that happens after you lose weight.

Don’t expect to become a sexbomb overnight, that’s not going to happen. Your friends and family and all the people will perceive you exactly as you were before, only thinner. What it is going to happen is that you will realize that life can be fun even if you eat more veggies and less burgers. It will be fun to find that you enjoy more time with your dog and kids, because you won’t feel tired after a 5 minutes of leisurely walk. It will be fun to coach your nephews for their next crucial soccer game and it will be a whole lot of fun to enjoy sex with your partner for a longer time.

The changes in your appearance may not be very dramatic at first, but what you have to aim for is a change in the way you look at yourself and live your life. Once you are able to find a new balance and new things to enjoy, you will forget all about eating and lazing all day long in a couch!

Before weight loss you wanted a big change in your life. No matter how little weight you lose, that change will be there and you can start to enjoy a new lifestyle. The most important gift you can make yourself is to celebrate the new you after weight loss and make yourself in style for the rest of your life.

10 Ways to Lose Weight

Here are some ways to lose weight that should help you achieve your weight loss goals. Some are very simple but you might not have thought of them. Others are a little more challenging, but worth the effort.

1. Make the decision to lose weight.

At first this may seem like a silly statement, but to be successful at anything, you have to make the decision that it is something important to you. If you really want to lose weight, then you need to make up your mind that you are going to do so and be determined in your pursuit of success.

2. Avoid the all or nothing mentality.

Let me give you an example. Have you even been on a diet and then you gave in to the craving for a cookie? Then after you ate the cookie, you decided that since you had already ruined your diet, that you would just eat whole bag of cookies. That is what is meant by all or nothing mentality. Realize that, as in most other endeavors, you are not going to be perfect at sticking to your diet, but do not let one slip send you into an eating binge. If you fall off the diet wagon, get right back on and put the rest of those cookies back in the cabinet.

3. Research diet plans and choose one that fits your goals and lifestyle.

Do not choose a diet just because it is the latest fad or because your friends are doing it or a popular celebrity is endorsing it. Make sure that the plan is one that you believe you can stick to based on your weight loss goal, your food tastes and your lifestyle.

4. Find time to exercise even if it is only a few minutes a day.

Even if you do not have time to go to a gym and do a planned program, try to find ways that you can integrate exercise into your everyday routine such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking further away so that you have to walk further to your car.

5. Keep a food diary.

This does not have to be a time consuming affair where you write down your feeling while you were eating, etc. Just taking a few minute to write down what you eat and then reading over that list at the end of the day can be a real eye opener. You may not realize just how many calories you are eating per day until you see it in writing.

6. Find a partner for support.

Finding a diet or work out partner will help keep you motivated. Most people do much better at achieving goals if they have the support of someone else.

7. Take a before weight loss photo.

You may not want to do this because if you are overweight, you are probably avoiding cameras, but at a later point when you have lost some weight, it will help you to see what you have achieved.

8. Set short term goals.

If you focus on losing 50 pounds, you can easily get discouraged, so focus on achieving smaller goals such as 5 pounds. If you keep reaching your small goals, before you know it, you will have reached your long term goals.

9. Reward yourself for success (but not with food).

Give yourself a reward for reaching a short term goal. For example, you can go to a movie you want to see, buy a new outfit, or get a massage. Just do not use food as a reward.

10. Do not let other people discourage you.

If you tell other people that you are trying to lose weight, some of them will probably be less than supportive or want to tell you about their failed efforts and make you feel like you will fail also. Realize that there are other people that just do not like to see anyone achieve success or that are just negative people in general and do not let those people get you down.

These are ways to lose weight that are effective but not dependent on any particular diet plan, so no matter what you are doing to try to achieve your weight loss goals, these ways to lose weight should help you to achieve them.

Tips on How to Lose Weight Without Beating yourself Up in the Process

Why do we continue to support an industry that delivers no more than a 5% long-term success rate? How about because the $30 billion dollar weight loss industry is selling what we want, namely promises of instant, easy and quick weight reduction.

That reason is we expect weight loss to be like everything else in our society, namely, almost instant. While we have instant entertainment, fast food and information on the Web, our bodies are organic and physical. While all this instant delivery puts us in the mindset that losing 10 - 20 or more pounds is simply a matter of taking a pill or changing a diet temporarily, our physical nature works against that from happening.

The human body is focused on self-preservation. Serious dieting can be recognized by our body as starvation which in turn puts it into a sustained self-preservation mode. Bodies will lower their metabolism to maintain and protect existing energy reserves stored in fat. This means that a radical diet is not the way to lose weight.

So let’s try and get past the instant Society mindset and realize that losing weight is a long term goal. It took time to gain all that weight, and it will take time to lose it. More importantly, it will take a lifetime to continue to maintain a healthy weight. The one key to learn how to lose weight is to not get discouraged and realize that losing weight is not a month long effort only.

You can help yourself to lose weight by changing your lifestyle, one minor step at a time.

For example

1. Look long term. Once a diet is selected, there are times when all of us will just decide not to follow the plan. This doesn’t mean failure! Tomorrow’s a new day and another opportunity to make good food and lifestyle decisions

2. Add some activity into your daily routine. Wash the car by hand, do the vacuuming or gardening yourself. Find ways to become more active in the course of the day. This may mean taking the stairs instead of an elevator or parking farther away when going to the store. All these ideas take almost no time but it can increase activity, and that’s a good thing.

3. Stop obsessing about weight. Okay, your fat. Obsessing and worrying about some extra poundage is not going to make it go away. Everyone’s weight fluctuates on a daily basis and weighing in all the time can damage your positive outlook about losing weight. It’s easy to get discouraged when your weight goes up, because you’ve made the extra effort to drink additional water. Weigh yourself once a week, and other than that, stay off the scale

4. Learn to like water. Not for swimming or flushing or bathing but drinking. Experts agree that a healthy body needs at least 64 ounces of water a day. If you absolutely cannot handle drinking plain water, go to the supermarket to pick up food flavorings. These are small bottles of flavor usually kept in the baking aisle and can be used to flavor your water without adding calories.

Remember that the key to how to lose weight is to realize that losing weight is a long term proposition. It’s only by making those minor changes and adjustments in your routine daily can you expect to not only lose weight and keep it off permanently

Do You Really Need To Lose Weight Rapidly With Pills?

Nowadays we want quick fixes for everything. If you want to lose weight rapidly with pills I’m going to challenge you to rethink your strategy. Here’s why.

The first fact to consider is that many of the wonderful claims that are being made about this pill can make you lose weight this fast and that pill can make you lose weight that fast is pure and unadulterated nonsense.

Many of the people making those claims have little more on their minds than getting their fingers into your purse or wallet.

Can pills make or help you lose weight? Yes, some certainly can.

Is it the best and safest way of losing weight?

No, sensible exercise and diet adjustment are by far the safest way of losing weight.

Many of the pills on the market today make you lose water volume instead of fat volume. The scale moves down a little, but your dimensions don’t. What is the use of that?

Even though a few of the pills on the market can give you rapid weight loss, your results are usually only temporary. Before you know it you’re back at the weight that you started at before taking those pills.

Why is that?

It happens because pills do not modify your eating habits, lifestyle, and exercise routine (or lack of it).

You cannot use most of these pills for prolonged periods of time. Even the labels tell you so.

That means, when you stop taking the pills and continue with your normal lifestyle, you gain all that weight back again.

That’s a ton of money down the drain.

Develop a sensible exercise routine and modify your eating habits in a way that your exercise consumes more calories than you take in, and you will see those pounds literally fly off you.

In closing, you can lose weight rapidly with pills and only with some of the pills on the market today. However, you will probably gain back all that weight. Rather exercise and modify your eating habits for rapid weight loss that lasts.

How to Lose Weight With Hoodia and How to Stay Slim

You heard everything about my ongoing struggle with my weight, from childhood until today. Now, to finalise my story, I will tell you all about: How to lose weight with Hoodia - and I also want to tell you how I still manage my weight with Hoodia Gordonii.

When I got my first bottles of Hoodia Gordonii, I had read the few informations and articles which existed about “How to lose weight with Hoodia”, by heart. So, without much delay, I immediately started with the Hoodia diet, just as written on the bottle: about 1 hour before every meal I took the Hoodia together with a big glass of water. At first I took 2 capsules before lunch and 2 before dinner, but after about 6 months, I went down to one.

And that is basically it: how to lose weight is no secret anymore for me, quite contrary, how to lose weight is as easy as eating, if you use Hoodia Gordonii.

But let’s start at the beginning. For the first two days I actually did not feel any less hungry, than I felt before and I thought already that Hoodia was just another scam. (Today I know that it can take up to 72 hours, before Hoodia really connects with the brain.) but then on the third day, my hunger was basically gone and from then on my lunch and my dinner were always considerably smaller than before. “How to lose weight with Hoodia” – it started to get really interesting and exiting.

So I kept on taking my capsules. How to lose weight with Hoodia – although it is easy, it still needs some kind of regularity. Take the capsules one day, not the next two days and then again for three days, is not how it works. For me personally it worked best, the more I stuck to a routine. If I managed to take my capsules for two or more weeks always exactly at the same time, I did not only lose my hunger. I also found my mood considerably improving and I felt generally better. Mentally and physically! I had more energy and I was a lot more active. So, instead of asking “How to lose weight with Hoodia” it should be: “How to improve my life with Hoodia”!

After a year, I was down to the weight I wanted to reach, the task went from “How to lose weight” to “How to keep weight”. I just remembered too well, how quickly the weight was back on the hips, once the diet was stopped. But I found very quickly that there is no actual stopping, because I never changed my food. True, I ate less, but still the things I liked, so even when I was on my target-weight and when I stopped Hoodia, I did not have sudden cravings for something I did not eat for the time of the diet. So, the question, again, could be changed into “How to lose weight by still eating the things you like?”

Therefore staying on my weight was not really all that difficult. I stopped the regular intake of Hoodia and tried to eat normal, but less than before. And on the days, where I felt that hunger and appetite might overwhelm me, I took the capsules again.

How to lose weight with Hoodia and staying at my weight – today it is for me the easiest thing in the world. I found my perfect weight and thanks to Hoodia I am quite able to stay at this weight, within a margin of maybe 1,5 kilos. I always have a supply of Hoodia Gordonii ready and when there is too much craving, I always come back to it. How to lose weight is for me nowadays a matter of maybe three capsules of Hoodia Gordonii a week.

I honestly hope, it works for all of you as well as it worked for me. How to lose weight – with Hoodia Gordonii it is no sorcery anymore!

Tip On How To Lose Weight Fast

To lose weight fast, the best tip I can give you is to take massive action with a multi-prong approach.

Without going to extremes like surgery or even risking side effects with diet pills, you can lose weight fast in the natural way by focusing on these three areas:

- Change your eating habit

- Walk your way to weight loss

- Be active in your daily routine

1) Change Your Eating Habit

How many calories do you ingest from a typical meal at a fast food restaurant?

If you guess 600 kcal, you’re still short…

A packet of fries at a fast food outlet easily give you more than 600 kcal. And we haven’t even counted the burger and the carbonated drink!

Now, that meal alone gives you much more than you can burn and the excess is then stored as fat. Just imagine how much fat we keep storing in our bodies if we continue to eat the way we do.

In other words, we simply overeat!

So, you simply need to eat less per meal. If you can reduce at least one-third or even half of what you’re eating, you would not stop adding to your body fat.

The rule of thumb is to eat till you’re not hungry at each meal rather than eat till you’re feeling full.

As you eat less per meal, you should eat more meals.

What? Eat more meals to lose weight?

Yes, absolutely! Because if you just eat less per meal, you would feel hungry between meals and your body will think that you’re going through a famine and start to slow down its metabolism. So, eating smaller meals 5 or 6 times per day would not cause your metabolism to slow down unnecessarily.

2) Walk Your Way To Weight Loss

Walk, not run!

Yes, if you think you lose more weight by running, you’re in for a surprise.

Just look at any tread mill the next time you’re at a gym. The fat burning zone is always at typically 55% to 70% of your target heart rate which is lower than the aerobic zone at 70% to 80%.

The reason for this is that when you work out at the higher target heart rate, you would not be able to last. For people who are obese, they probably won’t even last for five minutes and that would translate to perhaps 50 or 100 kcal! But if they are working out at the lower heart rate, they could last for at least half an hour to one hour.

So, if you want to lose weight fast, a ‘quick’ way (or rather slow way) is to take long walks each day for at least 1 to 2 hours! Yes, you need that long duration in order to burn as many kcal as possible.

3) Be Active In Your Daily Routine

Every bodily activity helps you to lose weight including breathing, walking, working, even eating itself needs energy.

What you can do to help to burn as many calories as possible is to increase your incidental activities such as volunteering to do household chores or mow the lawn. Can you imagine how happy your spouse or family members would be?

Yes, move around as much as you can. Even if you’re sedentary most of the time, learn to take breaks after every 30 to 40 minutes and just walk around and do some stretching.

If you can stick to this three prong approach for at least month, I guarantee that you will see results. However, that’s not all. To get more free tips to lose weight fast, feel free to visit my web site.

Hoodia: The Lazy Way To Lose Weight?

Losing weight is the hardest thing to do. If requires so much effort and in the fast pace worked we live in where our time is demanded on so many fronts we often have no time for ourselves. And with the two minutes in the day we do have to ourselves who wants to worry about their weight? It’s a vicious cycle. It’s not that we are so lazy, but we need a lazy way to lose weight because we just don’t have time for anything else.

In the past we have stumbled onto lazy ways to lose weight, but they have ended up backfiring on us, causing all kinds of side effects and health problems. It’s so hard to know what is healthy when you are trying to lose weight. News reports come out every day telling us that something we thought was good for us is not longer healthy. We need to find some healthy natural ways to lose weight quickly and easily.

There are so many products out there that claim to be able to help you lose weight. Products that speed up your metabolism, products that curb your appetite. How do you know which ones really work? How do you know which ones are just trying to take your money and leave you with nothing in return? One of the newest natural weight loss remedies comes in the form of a plant called hoodia.

A group from 60 Minutes researched a natural plant extract from the cactus plant hoodia that comes from South America. They actually sent a team over there to try it for themselves. One of the reporters said that after trying the product made from the plant she felt no hunger for the rest of the day. Now that sounds like something that could qualify as a lazy way to lose weight.

Hoodia is an all natural plant grown now for its ability to send signals to the brain that tell the body it is not hungry, in fact it is able to make the brain almost forget about eating al together for periods of time. So far research has shown that there are no side effects except rapid weight loss. This new all natural weight loss remedy is taking the nation by storm.

Hoodia is being made into all kinds of products designed to target those who have 20 pounds or more to lose. Weight loss companies are putting it in to powders, liquids, pills. People are paying loads of money for this new product.

However, there are some companies that are ripping people off. Since the product is all the rage and in demand, it can be expensive to purchase. You need to be careful about the products you choose. Find a company that offers a money-back guarantee with their product or in some cases even a free sample.

The Real Way to Lose Weight - and Keep it Off

Everyone has seen all the advertisements on TV lately for Lipozene© and other diet products; it is becoming a bit excessive. We’re finally starting to come down off the “low carb” high that everyone was on for the past three years and getting back to the reality of:

The best way to lose weight and keep it off is eating right and exercise.

You can read a million articles out there that will say “do something ridiculous to lose tons of weight!!” I’m not one to say these articles are wrong, because there is proof that some of these diets do work for people. The problem today is that people want quick results, when in fact they should be less worried about quick results and concentrate more on keeping the weight they do lose off.

The low-carb experiment

Let’s break down a low-carb fad diet. Whether it is Atkins, South Beach or any of the thousands of others out there, they all do basically the same thing; cut carbs way down if not out of your diet. But let’s not forget that carbs account for a lot of our daily intake, Pasta and Bread are not the only things that have carbs in them. Fruit, vegetables, and whole grain are just a few things that carbs are in and these carbs are healthy for you. So now you’ve cut all of them out of your diet, therefore starving your body of the natural carbs that it would take in on a daily basis. So overall cutting carbs out of your diet can help you lose weight, but also cut out the healthy carbs.

These diets DO work; they will get you down ten pounds in a short period of time if you follow it religiously, but let’s not forget what is going to happen over time. Now you’ve lost a let’s say 30 pounds in a 6-8 month period and now the key is to keep it off, but the problem is the majority of people who get off these diets go back to eating carbs, and reducing the amount of exercise that is required. Once you go back to carbs & stop exercising you go back to putting weight on.

The best route

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, let’s discuss what we should do to get the weight off and keep it off.

The best thing that you can do is to eat healthy; there is no way around this. You don’t need to do a fad diet like low-carb to lose weight; you can eat carbs and still drop the pounds.

What you will want to do is spend a little time thinking about what you eat in a day, and how much of it, and write this down so you have a clear idea of what you take in per day, you may even want to do it for a couple weeks to get an average of how many calories you’re taking in on a daily basis.

To find how many calories you should be taking in, you take your bodyweight * 10, so if you’re 120 pounds you would take in 1200 calories per day (this finds your BMR - Basal Metabolic Rate). But remember this is just an “about” since it doesn’t take into account exercise & your level of activity.

Now we need to talk about the amount of exercise you should be doing daily, here is a website to calculate the amount of calories you burn per amount of time you exercise:

http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc

Let’s put the fact out there that 3,500 calories is about 1 Pound. Say you take in around 250 calories a day less then your BMR and you burn 250 calories with exercise per day, over a week you will lose ~1 Pound.

Sure one pound is not the same as ten that you could lose with a low-carb in a two week period, but you have a much higher chance of keeping this weight off compared to low-carb.

Now you have a base of what you weigh, how many calories you take in currently, and BMR. The next step is to setup a diet that will fit your schedule; there are many factors that can alter this. In general a person has control over 2 out of 3 meals per day, while the other meal is decided by another person. On top of that you have to replace the old snacks between those meals with new, healthier snacks. I personally recommend baked potato chips, granola bars, and of course fruit & vegetables.

Here is a great resource that can show you foods that will help you get started on your road to success:

http://www.mypyramid.gov/

Recap

The key point is to eat healthy, and exercise, something that a lot of people procrastinate against. You don’t need a diet that will drop weight fast, then put it back on in a short period of time. Instead you need to eat healthy foods and get in 20-30 minutes of some form of intensive cardio (treadmill, elliptical, cycling, etc) and be active during the day. If you have some free time during the day go outside for a walk instead of watching TV or sitting around.

And remember -

You are what you eat.
